1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use willowfalconcrest.com or book a consultation through it. By using the site or confirming a session you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

2. What the service is

Willow Falcon Crest gives general information and holds one-to-one consultations about Japan's public pension system: reading statements, categories of insured status, the timing of benefits, totalization agreements and how a household's pensions fit together. It is an information service.

3. What it is not

We are not a government body, and we are not connected with or endorsed by the Japan Pension Service (日本年金機構) or the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare; we name them only as the authorities that run the system. We do not give legal, tax, investment or medical advice. We do not file applications, notifications or appeals for you, and we do not act as your agent before any government office. If you need a procedure that the law reserves to licensed professionals, please use the pension office or a licensed professional of your choice.

4. No guarantees

Pension rules change, and they depend on your date of birth, work history and residence. Percentages and examples in our articles describe the general rule and may not apply to you. Only the Japan Pension Service can confirm your entitlement and amount. We do not promise any amount, refund, approval or other outcome.

5. Booking and fees

A consultation is requested by email or through the enquiry form. Before you pay, we send a written confirmation with the date, time, format, fee and bank transfer details. A contract for that session is formed when you confirm it and the payment has arrived.

This website has no payment function. Payment is made by bank transfer before the session. The fee in the written confirmation is the one that applies; any other price you may see or be told in passing is not binding.

6. Cancellations and refunds

What happens when a session is cancelled or moved is described on the cancellation and refund page. The commercial notice (特定商取引法に基づく表記) repeats the main points.

7. Your part

Please give us accurate information, bring the documents we ask for, and keep your own copies of everything important. Decisions about claims and filings are yours. Please do not send us other people's personal information without their permission.

8. Content and copyright

The texts on this site belong to Willow Falcon Crest unless credited otherwise. The photographs are illustrative stock images and do not show clients or staff. You may link to our pages and quote a short passage with attribution; copying whole pages or reusing them commercially needs our written permission. The written summary you receive after a session is for your own use.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions taken only on the basis of the general information on these pages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights under the Consumer Contract Act.

10. Links to other sites

We link to official sites such as that of the Japan Pension Service so that you can check what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. The current text is always at this address, and a revision applies to sessions confirmed after it is published.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the courts of Japan have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights.
